Life Is A Highway Photography will be closed from 7/11 - 7/19 for vacation. I will be answering emails and returning phone calls but on a little bit of a slower pace since I will be away.

What is a mini accordion album you ask? I have had quite a few inquiries for my Christmas in July Special and everyone is asking..."so what are these custom mini accordion albums"?


These minis are 2.5 x 3.5 inches and are press printed on luxurious linen paper. Each one is custom designed and truly one of a kind pieces. They deliver big oohha and ahhhs on the playground and are great for moms to carry around and show off to friends and family. They not for sale on my a la carte list and are only part of special packages.


The design choices are limitless as all elements are custom. The images above show a mini with an orange art cloth cover. These little treasures are available in 2 finishes; art cloth and eurohyde and come in 17 choices (see below & click to see larger).

Twice as Nice | NJ Newborn Twin Photographer

These boys were my first newborn twins ever. I was so excited and nervous. I wondered if I would be able to get "those" shots and if they would fall into sync with their eating schedules or not. They played a little game of psych with me. Oooh look they are both awake let's get some alerts shots....psych. Ok so how about we get them in the sleepy shots then.....psych. Well you just fed them both so let me get some detail shots....psych. I think you can see what I am getting at. lol

When Gibson was ready, Grayson wanted to eat and when Grayson was done then Gibson would let out a doozie and then want to eat. It was actually rather comical and funny. I was less anxious in the moment than I thought. I just sat back and played with big brother Griffin, chatted with dad and played hot jumping beans trying to get away from the mosquitoes with mom while they were fed, cleaned, soothed....etc.

But it all paid off! From what I have proofed already this was an amazing session and I cannot wait to edit them all.

Fragile | NJ Newborn Photographer

When I think about the word fragile I think glass, eggs, heck even the leg lamp from Christmas Story but of course then it must be pronounced Fra'gile'.

I got to meet two of the most loved and precious babies last night. These strong boys were born at 32 weeks and are such fighters. I am overwhelmed just by looking at these images again as I know what they mean to their mom & dad who are so close to my heart.

Fragile has many associations to me as mentioned above but never did I equate fragile to beautiful until last night.

and sweet that is what this image says to me. As I am editing a recent session this one jumped at me and I wanted to share it. It just makes me smile.

I am so excited to be photographing my first set of twins this week and cannot wait to share those images with you!

For now though I am off to try and get a sliver of the peaceful sleep this little one was a master of. :-)

This Little Piggy | NJ Newborn Photographer

Dalton has the most adorable little feet and toes. Just looking at this image makes me want to play "This Little Piggy" with him.

We lucked out being able to get some outdoor shots in before the rain came that has been sticking around and looks like it will be for awhile. I am happy that the grass is green and the flowers are healthy and perky but I want the sun to come out so I can get more clients out in the fresh air for some fun.

Shooting in the rain....just shooting in the rain.....

Oh wait that's singing in the rain, right? lol

This session had already been rescheduled due to rain and I thought we had it made with a forecast of 76 and sunny. Well......the weatherman was a bit off. We got spritz and sprayed but still got in our shots. Too bad Miss. E's parasol wasn't waterproof because we sure could have used it at the end; just take a look at the water beads on Mr. Z's violin!

I met these gorgeous kids by way of a referral. I LOVE when my clients refer me to their friends. It is such a compliment when you know that your clients trust you with not just their own precious memories but enough to send you to their friends and family.

I had a ball hanging out with this fun family. We played on the swings and slide, played dress up, popped bubbles and played baseball. I needed a nap when I got home. lol
